Microsoft - recruiting for interns and fulltime software development positions - MUST ACT NOW!

Below is a note we just received from Jeff, our Microsoft recruiter.

--------------

Greetings!

I am reaching out to you because we would like to let you know that we will be reviewing applications from students at your university within the next few weeks. This is a limited opportunity and we want to make sure your students are considered. As you may know, some of the work done by our teams over the past few years is now becoming visible to the public in such products as Windows 8, Microsoft Surface, Windows Phone 8, Office 365, and the newest release by our Game Studios, Halo 4. These are only a few areas showcasing the impact your students will have on the world and its millions of users through high quality engineering and thoughtful design. Technology is moving at a rapid pace and we would like to invite your most talented students to join our high caliber teams on this journey of achieving ever new milestones.
Exciting opportunities
We are actively recruiting for our fulltime and intern software development positions and are looking for students who are:
·      B.S., M.S., and PhD students
·      Pursuing studies and/or research in areas of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field
   · Deeply passionate about technology and making an impact in the world
Students are encouraged to apply for these positions at microsoft.com/university as soon as possible (ideally by December 11th) as we are interviewing and hiring now. We anticipate that most of next year’s available positions will be filled by February.

We also want to make you and your students aware of the following resources aimed at helping with preparing for technical interviews at any company.
